The Belize Hotel Association hosted a networking mixer at Mahogany Bay Beach Resort & Beach Club in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, on September 6, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. More than thirty local invitees, including Members and non-Members, were asked to be part of this event. BHA’s Allied Members were also present to showcase their range of products and services.

The networking event was an opportunity to engage, educate and excite the attendees about BHA’s upcoming marketing initiatives and projects for the 2019/2020 Membership year. Our aspiration was to connect with the stakeholders and gather their feedback on ideas for events, projects, businesses, etc. with the goal of incorporating the Members’ brand and interests effectively unto our efforts and also, find innovative ways to continue promoting Belize and our Membership.

 On September 7, the Board of Directors and BHA staff embarked on a familiarization tour of a few of the Member properties in San Pedro and met with managers, owners, and staff, while learning about all the amenities and attractions available at each hotel.  The visited Members included Banyan Bay Suites, Victoria House Resort & Spa, Diamond Lodge, Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, Brahma Blue, San Pedro Holiday Hotel, & The Palms Oceanfront Suites.

The BHA Board will continue its familiarization visits to BHA properties in the upcoming weeks, so we will be in your area very soon!
