BHA brings Sunny Vacations to Snowy Washington
The Belize Hotel Association was in snowy Washington this weekend March 16 and 17, 2019 representing our membership at the Washington Travel and Adventure Show. The show opened at 9:30AM on Saturday for media and travel professionals only, then for the general public from 10AM to 5PM and from 11AM to 4PM on Sunday. Board Director Anoushka D. Brandl and Membership and Marketing Executive Ilechia Flowers met with numerous visitors to our booth, who were all looking for an exciting vacation in warm and sunny temperatures. Most of them stated that they hoped to visit soon and were very impressed with the countless activities that Belize offers.
There was great interest from the attendees to experience the best of both worlds in one country i.e. Rainforest and Beach, which as we know makes Belize a very attractive option. In addition, Belize is growing in popularity and the existing airline connections from several gateways in the USA make the country very accessible.
The 2019 Belize Hotel Association Accommodation guide was a key showpiece at our booth and over 500 pieces were distributed in print and digital format, along with BHA maps, bookmarks, lip balms and magnetic bottle openers.
