Whipray Caye Fishing Lodge

Whipray Caye Fishing Lodge is located nine miles off the coast of Placencia, Belize on the island of Whipray Caye. Placencia has been known for its world class permit and tarpon fishing for many years. Whipray Caye is ideal for an exclusive stay for a few individuals, a family or a group of friends, who love to fish, snorkel or to just enjoy the peace and quiet with unspoiled nature. The Cabral family have been guides working from Whipray Caye for over thirty years and are some of the finest, most experienced saltwater guides in Belize. A week of fishing from Whipray Caye is like taking an advanced course in saltwater fly fishing. Benefits: Fishing: You land and start off the morning fishing. Snorkeling: The coral around Whipray Caye is superb for diving or snorkeling in the turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean. Relaxing & Dining: Enjoy the palm trees and breezy days spent sipping rum punch or Belikin beer while lounging on a hammock, and cool star-lit nights with the gentle shush of breaking waves on the shore directly in front of your cabana. Enjoy your meals at the Sea Urchin Bar/Restaurant. The kitchen serves up a variety of Belizean and American food, mostly served fresh from the sea, and the fully stocked bar serves the coldest beer for miles around, all enjoyed under the thatched roof and open to the cooling breezes; so, you can view spectacular sunsets as you eat. Meals are all served Family Style and are fixed price.
