Crooked Tree is a settlement located in the nation of Belize. It is a mainland village located in the Belize District. Even though Crooked Tree village is on mainland Belize, it is considered an island because it sits in the middle of a network of lagoons, creeks, streams and marshes that drain into the Belize River. The Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, as it was declared in 1984, provides habitat for over 250 species of resident and an unknown number of migratory birds as well as other wildlife.

Hopkins is a Garifuna village on the coast of the Stann Creek District in eastern Belize and is considered by Belizeans to be the cultural center of the Garifuna population in Belize.

Punta Gorda, known locally as PG, is the town of the Toledo District in southern Belize. Punta Gorda is the southern most sizable town in the nation, with a population of about 6,000 people.

Fresh lobsters from the Belizean waters surrounding Ambergris Caye are barbecued, soaked into ceviche, topped with tangy citrus butter or crowning crispy tacos and sold at the stalls and in restaurants across town.
