Belize Hotel Association was in attendance at the 7th Annual Los Angeles Travel and Adventure Show held at the Long Beach Convention Center, January 14th – 15th, 2012.  This year the LA Adventure Show set a new record, welcoming more than 25,000 active travel enthusiasts and travel trade, making this year’s show the highest attended travel show in the US.

From January 10th – 15th Sander Langeveld and Sandra van Noord attended the Vakantiebeurs, which is a consumer show in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

The Dutch like to travel. Despite the economic headwind and gloomy market forecasts, plenty vacation plans for the upcoming season were made at the Vakantiebeurs 2012 in Utrecht. The annual holiday event experienced a very successful edition with a solid interest of both tourism professionals as well as tourists. With an increase of almost 4% compared to the 2011 edition the Vakantiebeurs welcomed 126.551 visitors this year.

The most important reason for visiting Vakantiebeurs 2012 is gathering information about the next holiday destination. Other motives provided by the visitors are: choosing a holiday, enjoying a day out and gathering information about an already booked holiday. Nearly one out of ten visitors had the intention to actually book the upcoming holiday at the Vakantiebeurs.
